The reason why I designed this component is because a while back we had a client that really liked the &lt;a href="http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox/"&gt;Lightbox&lt;/a&gt; style image gallery. After going through several different pre-made components not many of them seem to either be a user friendly or what we were looking for also a lot of them didn't even work. So with all the problems we had gone though using different components i think I had a better understanding of how I was going to build this thing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When we design for most clients we like to sell them on the idea of they can edit their website with very little html knowledge by using a CMS (content management system) like Joomla.
